Med-QLaser™ is newly released Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser therapy system.

Med-QLaser™ integrated with real-time energy monitor, energy auto-changing by adjustable handpiece, water filtration system, sufficiently guarantee the safety and efficiency during treatment. New UI designs focus on user experience which making the operation simpler and more convenient.

How it works

Treatment principle for pigmented dermatosis of Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser Therapy system lies in selective photothermolysis with melanin as the chromophore. Q-Switched Nd:YAG has higher Peak power and nanoseconds-level pulse width. Melanin in melanophore and cuticle formed cells have a short hot relaxation time. It could immediately make small selectively energy absorbed granules (tattoo pigment and melanin) blast without injuring surrounded normal tissues. The blasted pigment granules will be excreted from body through circulatory system.

1. Melanin granules in skin

2. Absorbing laser energy

3. Instantaneously blasted

Why Med-QLaser™

  • TGA registered medical grade equipment
  • Multiple global patents
  • Two stages Nd:YAG laser system with electro-optic Q-Switched technology, which output higher energy. The designs adopt cavity optimized schedule, make the pulse width as short as 5ns, and get doubled output power density under the same energy.
  • Integrated laser energy monitor system inside, set warning signal when energy deviation over threshold, all to ensure treatment effectiveness and safety.
  • Flat-top beam output, uniformly distributed spot energy without any heat point, Achieve better treatment effect and less side effects.

FAQ

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO TATTOO REMOVAL TREATMENTS?

The laser tattoo removal treatment can take on average around 30 minutes, depending on the surface area of the tattoo being targeted. Discomfort during the treatment can usually be eliminated by using local anesthetic. Immediately after the treatment, redness and swelling may occur, but will generally subside within 48 hours. Pinpoint bleeding may also occur particularly in the early treatments when a surgical dressing will be applied to give additional protection.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS NEED FOR THE TATTOO REMOVAL?

Removing a professionally applied tattoo is usually a fading process that requires a series of treatments spaced at least 6 weeks apart. Professional tattoos usually require 5-10 treatment sessions for satisfactory clearing. The depth, color and amount of ink, as well as the location of the tattoo on the body are all determining factors in how quickly the tattoo can be removed. Most amateur, ‘street tattoos” and traumatic tattoos are removed in fewer treatments.

CAN Q-SWITCHED LASER REMOVE HYPERPIGMENTED LESIONS?

Most pigmentary skin lesions, whether epidermal or dermal, acquired or congenital, can be treated with Q-switched laser. Though the clinical indications of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser are numerous, like lentigines, café-au lait macules, freckles, dermal pigmented lesions like Nevus of Ota, Nevus of Ito, mongolian spots, Hori’s nevus and other flat pigmented birthmarks.
